I think you are giving the heterosexual majority way to much credit in thinking that they can see any other point of view beyond their own experience.

I can't even get many of the participants here to recognize that the transsexuals are deserving of dignity and respect.

Anything that involves trying to placate "Big Daddy Heterosexual" is doomed to fail. He is a critical parent who will always withhold his love from us because we will never be the child he wants us to be.

We might make some inroads with other sexual minorities but I think that is the best we can hope for.

We can't seek their favor but we can mover forward without it. IMHO :)
