Why is it so difficult to recognize that every person has the right to choose a life and body in which he can feel at home?

They are free to do what they want, sure.

I am more for freedom than you are. I am for people to do what they want, AND for freedom of association. That is, people are free to make their choices, and I am free to associate or not associate with them based on their choices.
