Why "truth" is always relative to your perspective is because you as a human are always going to be limited by what you are capable of perceiving and knowing. Ref. Elephant and blind men The question is, whether you can have a personal truth that is different from someone else's personal truth? And I think what you are arguing here is a matter of semantics and the limited way you are defining "truth". I think the example of a guy who can walk vs a guy who can't and the difference in their "truths" is spot on. I think in this case, we are limited by language is "the truth" and one's personal truth the same thing or are we dealing with apples and oranges? I think the latter. That they are two different concepts that are describe using similar language. Therefore you can have "your truth" and "my truth" but never have the complete truth :P International Boylove Day BoyWiki |
