I thought this would be where we end up. We cannot be sure. We could all be brains in a vat. so either we just say none of it is real, we can never know what the truth is, and we just believe whatever anyone says at any time, because, you know, its all just delusion. Or We take as a base (but unproven) axiom, that there is an objective reality out there, and that we can determine things about it, and we can determine whats true and whats not. Either way, that still doesnt get us to "your truth" and "my truth". In the first one, there is no truth at all, its all just delusion. In the second one there is objective truth, and no such thing as "my truth" and "your truth" |
