Good God, man, you can't draw any rational conclusions about pederasty by studying the current situation! That'd be like trying to decide if the Jewish faith was any good by conducting a health & fitness survey in Auschwitz. Norman Douglas is EXTREMELY relevant to today, because he shows how positively pederasty can work if given the space to operate naturally. And there's an ocean or two of further historical evidence to back this up. No, it won't change the enforced celibacy required today, but some of your beliefs are self-harming and self-defeating in an entirely unnecessary way. And, even worse, wrong. |
