Re: Yank imperialism

Even if there were no other horrors (and the list of America's horrors is long and terrible and ongoing - see Oliver Stone's The Untold History of the United States), the horror of Gaza would be enough on its own to make me long for the downfall of the Yank imperium. I loathe America for its support for Israel. I despise yanks for their ignorance of the costs of their empire, of the blood that is shed on their behalf, for their believing the lies of their leaders and their media, for their patriotism. I despise my own country for being a lackey of America. I am ashamed of my own country's support for genocide. Your glib talk of "freedom" cuts no ice with me. The "freedom" that is founded on someone else's holocaust is not something I want for myself. You can keep it.
