You keep appealing to my "freedom", but the original point I made in response to Etenne's post is that my felicity is not worth the massacre of Palestinian kids; and I cannot support an empire founded on perpetual holocaust, however much it claims to service my "freedom" at the expense of the lives of others. America is such an empire. Russia, for all its faults, is not such an empire; it's primary interest in Ukraine is its own security, a concern which it shares with every other state around the world, including the US.
