312 to 226 votes is a landslide. The public vote majority does not count. And the majority of Americans prefer a felon with sexual convicts over democrats with a lot of alleged not yet investigated crimes. Even if the bad things can be undone - there is irreparable damage. Trump did not start a war during his last service, but didn't projected strength otherwise. The Taliban in Afghanistan got the freedom to operate and violated conditions. The retreat of the American forces from Afghanistan started under Trump - and we know that it was hasty and badly organized. Trump also left office without any decency. He had not left the incoming administration with a plan how to distribute the vaccine. He dismantled agencies which were of dire need after he left office. Biden got elected, because people realized how bad Trump was. |
