| I don't see why "right-wing" parties are inherently more "erotophobic". The #MeToo movement and related movements are closer associated with the modern left. And as much as everyone is against rape, the anti rape organizations want to make everyone into a victim or "survivor" and get rid of due process and presumption of innocence. The "right-wingers" disagree with that, except when it comes to immigrants, who are guilty until proven innocent. But there's really nothing particularly left-wing about the left and nothing particularly right-wing about the right. Abortion isn't a left-right issue, Communist Romania even banned birth control. LGBT isn't a left-right issue, it was hardly accepted in socialist countries. Religion isn't either, there are plenty of economically right-wing atheist/secular dictators and economically left-wing more religious governments. In European countries, which have differing electoral systems, the main disputes are over EU capitulation vs. sovereignty and immigrants vs. no immigrants. Not erotophobia. |
