I was just looking at 312-226. I knew about the Reagan landslide, but not the other numbers.

As the public vote is irrelevant, your table shows that the first-past-post election system results in huge changes out outcomes. The Americans really should upgrade their election system. As a matter of fact, as of now, 29th of December, only the electoral college was elected. First on Jan 6th the next president if formally elected. It is pure formality and i do not expect the electors to elect Nicky Haley instead.

But still 312-226 and both the House and the Senate will be dominated by Republicans, that is for the next 2 years. And we will see an unleashing of imperialism, profit at all costs.
