Why does critiquing the social and cultural environment preclude mitigating negative outcomes? How does pie-in-the-sky socialist idealism help those who are suffering in the here and now? The blocker bans are not examples of critiquing the social and cultural environment. They are coming from opponents of social change who are frightened by the specter of an epidemic of trans kids. This is just standard issue panic over sexual difference. Do not imagine that by making common cause with the opponents of change you are somehow acting as a force for change. hugzu ;-p
