I can't agree with you there. I've never been in favour of prohibiting other people's pleasures. What would France be without wine? What's wrong with a good cigar? No, count me out of all puritanism. With regard to drugs I don't see how the odd naturally occuring drug, like magic mushrooms, can do much harm. I am not a fan of synthetic drugs, but there is a case for saying that the War on Drugs has caused more harm than good, and that in the case of a Tory MP who wants to snort cocaine off a whore's back I find myself completely indifferent, and unable to work up the requisite degree of outrage.
