Isn't it like libel where the truth is a complete defense?

No.

Its an adhominem if its used to support your argument, whether its true or not.

The fact that I may or may not live in my parents basement and may or may not be autistic has nothing to do with whether its a good idea to tell someone that you are sexually attracted to children.

For someone who has consistently warned your fellow BCers not to share details about their personal life here, it really doesn't make much sense for you to try to win a conversation by demanding that other people reveal publicly what they have told their trusted friends irl.

Im not "demanding" anything. I am pointing out that if its so safe to reveal your sexual attraction to children to someone you know in real life, then you should do it first and let us know how it goes.

Also not buying your claim that someone was institutionalized merely for telling his parents about his sexual attractions,

I dont know if it was "merely" for that. But that was certainly involved from what I remember.

If you would like to look into the claim that there are programs all across America where people can hear others discussing their experiences with being attracted to children and using child pornography without being ostracized or incarcerated, check out the link below.

This appears to be an online program. I was not able to access it via tor so didnt get to see the details. Theres a difference between telling someone online, especially if you are able to remain anonymous, and telling someone in real life who knows you personally.
