Little prepubescent children should be free to concern themselves with toys, games and childish pursuits, without having to worry about grown men's sexuality. Feminist stick up for women and children when they put predators in check, and that includes putting boys in check when they start to sexually harass other kids in school. School should be a bullying free zone. Etenne's zooming in on that one case where the weird (probably autistic) kid was harassed by his teachers and classmates totally misses the overall positive strides society has taken in sticking up for the victims of sexual harassment, post #me2. Overzealous medical treatments may occasionally injure a patient, but that doesn't mean we stop providing children with cutting edge therapies for whatever ails them. A better approach would be to fine tune the treatments to lessen side effects.

Pedophiles calling for children to be free to "explore their sexuality" sounds suspiciously like wolves calling for lambs to be free to wander away from the flock and explore the woods. There will be plenty of time for them to explore their sexuality when they reach adulthood, when their brains have fully formed and they have developed the social skills to advocate for themselves. Until that time a child lovers job should be to protect children's innocence.

Hating on gays, women and feminists just leads to alienation from huge swaths of society including the many children who are gay and both boys and girls can be feminists. Those who fight against injustice and bullying are not our enemies, they are our #allies.
