"Appropriate" is the key word here.... keeping in mind that boys are not homogeneous in their development or their desires.

As I have repeatedly pointed out, it's not an all or nothing cookie cutter world...it's a world of diversity. Is age appropriate sex right for all boys? No, it isn't. Is it right for some boys? Yes, it is. Boys are people, and yes, some of them are little pervs :P (bless their hearts)

And of course that goes full circle and brings us back to the little boys who rape their peers (previously discussed). It is better that they have an appropriate outlet to express their individual sexuality.

Equally, there are some people who are not ready for sex even in their late teens/early 20's. Of course, as I have also stated on numerous occasions is that gender of the partner is also a factor. For the largest part of the male population, having sex with both males and females is natural. However for heterozero boys having sex with males is ego dystonic and can be devastating to them.

In other words, "it takes all kinds" :)
