Actually, that's exactly what you said. But I'll let it slide. But...
  1. invoking Stalin and Lenin in the context of what occurs in American jurisprudence strikes me as more than a bit of stretch.
  2. if former convictions can be withheld from the jury's purview due their overtly prejudicial impact on the defendant, then why not for bL's in this case?
I suspect any defense attorney worth his salt can make that case over the aging rulings of the Rehnquist Court that have not been applied to other pornography cases involving content featuring adults.
