As much as I hate to say it....

That's just the way it is, tj. What was kosher yesterday is not today. Such is the world in which we now live. Don't count on no convictions. Juries love to hang pedos high. To follow the black-letter of the law or to nullify for what the vast majority of American society considers depravity is unthinkable to a juror who has to face his neighbors after the case. The state is just using the law because that's what the people want. DA's are elected officials, and one who is considered "soft on child sex abuse", (their term, not mine), won't last long. Federal prosecutors are appointed, but can easily be fired if enough complaints by residents to their congresscritters reach the DoJ. besides, US Attorneys and federal prosecutors aren't appointed for their mercy or compassion. As I've stated many times before. Justice has nothing to do with it. Its a game....whoever is better at it usually wins. You're not going to change it, either. Peace...
