The harm?

I leave that to the shrinks, who seem to have convinced the court that harm was done. Based on what I've read in some of these Azov threads, some of the boys were sexed by the photographer. According to the prevailing medico-legal theories we currently operate under, the harm was these boys were not only exploited for profit by organized crime, but we're told "suffered psychological trauma that will stay with them for years". According to them, the initial harm is compounded when purchased by someone else. Don't ask me to explain the alchemy behind that one, because to me it defies all common sense, let alone logic.

I don't agree, but that's the way it is as I keep reminding people. All I have to say thank God sex cases are handled by a different department, (run by a woman, surprise surprise), in the DA's office I work in. Its so much easier going after real criminals like car thieves, drunk drivers, convenience store robbers, and drunks involved in barroom assaults. Those are easy because its obvious the perps are guilty.

Peace....
