In fact, its color has probably become much richer and fuller since puberty kicked in, even if it has not yet begun to lower. The boy soprano voice is at its peak of beauty in early adolescence.

Puberty is different for everyone. I reached puberty when I was twelve, but my voice didn't change until I was 15. In fact, I had armpit hair and leg hair up to my knees before it so much as cracked. Alas, I never sang as a boy, which is one of my biggest regrets in life, musically speaking, at least. :(
