Well the initial transition to prepare for puberty usually starts in that period ... again, it's not so much puberty itself as the preparation for puberty. a few years before the spurting actually begins. There's the beginning tale-tell signs of changes, with minute changes to the testicles length or girth of the penis, a little more slack in skin, initial height jumps, and mostly the minor hormones and other elements, bodily chemicals of the chain reaction kickin' in... some gland issues and it promotes the response of human growth, blah, blah, blah.. But eh, I am condensing it through rather quickly and inane people call for my attention.

Ugh.. I should have just slept today. ... and dragged out my old class notes., though I think most of that is on trying to describe the testicles and the hormones which affect peach fuzz... back in the day where you could get graded on knowing what a ten year old's testicles should feel like.
