The idea that the actions of movements in other countries should be determined by the sensibilities of Western liberals who have to justify themselves in their own countries is completely imperialist. It means "You can't be armed, you can't resist, you can only do what we say and we can determine who is in your government and you can only have sovereignty under the conditions that we set, because we are more moral and better people than you are."

If that's not imperialist, what is? Just because two different kinds of imperialism are against each other doesn't make them not imperialist. Palestinian sovereignty means armed resistance against Israel. An unarmed Palestine is a colony with no sovereignty. It is not a state.
