On starvation as a tool of war

Two pieces from the Beeb about the current situation in Gaza. I expect the pro-Israelis on this board would prefer to avert their gaze. Apparently, the "infinite value of human life" is consistent with treating actual humans as so much disposable rubbish. The next link is to an article by Jeremy Bowen in which it is made quite clear that the breakdown of the recent ceasefire was a deliberate decision on the part of Netanyahu. He does not want either an end to the war or a release of the hostages. His aim is now clear - to push all the Arabs into a tiny area around the ruins of Rafah, and settle the whole of the rest of Gaza with Jewish settlers. This is open ethnic cleansing, using starvation as a weapon of war.
