MAPism as a depression orientation

It's what makes our attractions mainstream and we should be leveraging that instead of falsely accusing them of sadism. It's a mistake to think of yourself as so exceptional instead of sharing commonalities with the rest of humanity. MAPists, like their woke cohorts, adopt a self-image steeped in grievance politics which increases the likelihood of disempowering ruminations which can be the source of self-induced depression. But putting that aside, the difference between platonic and non-platonic is just a difference of consummation. Like most "platonic" relationships, the possibility of a sexual or romantic interaction is always present even if it is not a serious goal. The spark of flirtation and closeness can be rewarding in of itself. This does not distinguish pedophiles from non-pedophiles. Additionally, non-pedophiles are also capable of enjoying children. "The reality is that MAPs form close friendships as devoted mentors toward those whom we love." Non-pedophiles are also perfectly capable to enjoying mentorship. This is a widely held human trait. From a group selection perspective, it's not apparent that wanting to fuck a boy confers any survival advantage for one's genes over that of any non-pedophile displaying the near universal feelings of protectiveness towards children.
