Frank Torey and John D. Stamford

Can anyone help put me in touch with someone who knew either Frank Torey or John D. Stamford? There must be hundreds of now elderly boylovers who knew one of them reasonably well. I think they had interesting lives which could be written about safely now that a generation has passed since they died, and I'd like to do so before memories are lost forever.
