Mu is intended to be an umbrella organization that can help and support MAPs across the spectrum. To ensure that we do not alienate those who hold views different to our own, we take a middle-of-the-road official position, not stating extreme views as an organization.

There is another organization that attempts to do this, but they do not allow members to state their personal beliefs on contentious issues. We are fundamentally opposed to this, and would like to facilitate open dialogue in the hope of finding solutions.

Why? The rift between the pro-c and anti-c communities is huge. The two sides more or less ban each other from their sites, and accuse each other of ridiculous things like Naziism or working for our oppressors. This is intolerable.

My personal framework, labeled Pro-Reform, seeks to offer an acceptable compromise that is also a bit more palatable to non-MAPs. The main goals are adjustment of the AoC to 12+, decriminalization of the possession of PIM, and legalization of all artificial PIM. That would not be liberation, but it would be a hell of a lot better than now.
