The division between mild, moderate and radical seems arbitrary. Obviously we want the most we can get, but obviously we would be very happy if we could get anything at all. What I would like is for the aoc to be abolished completely. Perhaps it could be replaced with something like the PIE proposals. However, if the aoc were reduced to, say, 14 then I'd be very happy about it, and if it were reduced to 12 I'd be even happier. But even a small reduction in the aoc is beyond 'radical' in Anglosphere societies. The trend is in the opposite direction. To be honest, I can't really see the immediate value of yet another list of wishes. Our difficulty is not in knowing what we want, but in making what we want into reality. Activism is impossible in our current situation. By activism I mean seeking to persuade legislators, or those who select legislators - which in a democracy means the general public. We are not in the situation of other minorities. We are prevented from campaigning by a very understandable need to remain anonymous. Formulating a long term strategy for overcoming this might be more to the point. But I don't want to appear negative, so I shall just wish you the best of luck with your project!
