If porn disgusted her, she could simply not watch it. But she talks about it as if she was forced to watch it. Shame and negative taboos lead people to believe that viewing nudity and sex can cause harm. Ok, but this didnt answer my question. Is it possible for something to be harmful even if done voluntarily? this is a violation of the rights of young people to natural development, access to information and invasion of privacy. Im not sure any of these are rights either. But even if we agree they are, I dont think your argument works. What is "natural development"? One could argue that going to school is not natural, for example. or wearing clothes. So what does natural development mean, exactly? In other words, this is bigotry, ageism and juvenilophobia. It always comes down to this. Any restriction on children gets called ageism or bigotry. I will ask you what I ask everyone else. do you draw a line anywhere? That is, is there any restriction on children that isnt bigotry or ageism. If so, where is that line? I do not agree that restrictions on children is necessarily bigotry or ageism. |
