Yeah.. funny you should say that

The idea is not new to me.. quite old in fcat. I repeatedly come back to the 'problem' of multi-million tonnes (bales) of unwanted unrecyclable plastic that several companies in Australia are eager to get rid of (they would even pay people to do it). They had a venture doing some recycling of this material but it fell apart last year and it's been a PR disaster for the involved companies. I've seen these large bales in news stories and in fact I have been thinking again of them in the last few days.. I haf ideas.. floating structures that can cope with the rigors of the oceanic wilds, poor man's ideas, but possibly workable. And it doesn't have to remain a poor man's ideas, not these days with fundraising websites where all sorts of crazy shit gets investors..just gotta choose the right website/investors and have a comprehensive plan. You don't start something big if you can't see the whole plan and imagine it working pretty well. But I have a lot of other things on my plate right now, good ideas get shelved not thrown away. Every now and then I revisit the shelves.
