I'll eat it too. Yes, I have a fairly strong, admittedly faith-based belief that it is possible to have the best of all worlds, if only we could ditch stupid things that repeatedly drag us into the dark past. I know that, as you seem to suggest, the worst beliefs that work against boylovers seem to come in tandem with the 'West' and modern-world thinking, but I don't think they are inseparable, it's not inevitable. And the living example is most of the people posting on BC.. we're modern (eg we use the internet) but reject many of the mainstream views that surround us, and I'm sure that collectively a working successful culture could be created around that kind of thinking. BC posters are but a small subset of others just like ourselves.. I've quipped several times in the past whenever there's a big porn bust that the number of people involved in each case would easily be enough to populate a medium-sized city. There's millions of (usually) men who are currently in prison or under the surveillance of Justice authorities, wasting away their lives impotently, who could otherwise be productively employed and living much better lives in a land (or ocean) far far away.
