Every time we are subject to new laws designed to encourage or discourage one behaviour or another, culture changes. Cultures change constantly in zillions of little ways, there's always shakers and movers deciding that something is wrong and doing 'something' to alter everybody around them. The best-thought-out policies become like an unshakeable religion and stick around. Unfortunately, so do some of the worst thought-out.. like most of the sex-negative policies that pervade multiple countries today, which would be one example to help answer your question - What happens if you try and remove one value.

You ask, what is culture. I've asked the same before.. albeit in the form 'what's the difference between a culture and a sub-culture' because it's a question that even the experts grapple with. Truth is there's very little difference except in the degree of elaboration, and perhaps the earnestness of belief in the values carried within the culture/sub-culture. Just my opinion, but I sometimes wonder about whether most of the better-known cultures are jokes that got out of control. What's that internet rule about the most absurd jokes being taken seriously, getting out of control? Is that what happened with Q-Anon?

The fact that we use the internet and reject a small subset of beliefs does not mean we could successfully run a small state peacefully

Did you want me to make a list a thousand pages long? Obviously I'm trying to keep my post brief, and wasn't suggesting a direct link between an over-simplified broad-brush view of boylovers such as you paint and instantly turning into world's-best politicians. There's no such thing as perfection anyway, you'll never ever get a perfect country, or perfect leaders, or perfect anything. But I think there's plenty of scope to improve from what we see today.
