A drag queen becomes more woman What does this even mean? More woman? I though you were against the essentialist position that there is some pure standard of woman and womanhood? If there is no standard of being a woman, how can you be "more of a woman"? Ahhh, I think I get it now. Because the drag queen performs as a woman ( even though they arent a woman), that is, they look at women, see how they behave, and think ( incorrectly) " if I just do the things they do, walk the way they walk and talk the way they talk,except do it even more exaggerated, then I will be a woman !!". because drag queen is "performance" then all women must be also performing? |
