a couple of things,....

first, in what capacity is this man interacting with your nephew? Big Brothers? I envy him. I too, had a nephew that could not get enough of me, and truth to tell, I could not get enough of either. we lived out in the country, just down the road from each other, with grandma and grandpa living between. after school each day, he would come to my house until his mom, my sister, called him home to supper. My brother lived in another state. when he came to town, it seemed that I didn't exist. I had to ''suck it in'' and deal with being alone for a while. but eventually, my brother went back home, and my nephew would be back on my doorstep once again. he was a huge part of my life for a while. but he grew up and we all move on. don't push your nephew away. it will happen on it's own, all too soon.
