I'm telling you what happens in the real world. And unless set aside by the trial judge, (rare in these cases because the judge wants re=elected), the jury verdict stands. Even if appealed only can an error at trial reverse a jury. So unless there was reversible error in the trial judge's charge to the jury, their verdict will stand. Legal theory and what its supposed to be in theory is one thing. What actually happens in courtrooms is altogether a horse of a different color. Wake the fuck up! I see this every day. What I was taught and argued in law school and what actually happens in the trenches are two completely different things. Prosecutors will do anything, twist anything, appeal to the basest fears of the jury, do whatever they need to do to to get a conviction. How many times do I hafta say it? Justice has nothing to do with "The Game". I deal with the system daily. My idealism was shattered after the first week on the job. But I still try, dammit. The sooner y'all get your heads out of your asses and understand that the vast majority of the people think all pedos are molesters and get what they deserve, even when railroaded, the better.
