1/3 PPC, 1/3 Hooked, and 1/3 Pokemon. He has, at times, so dominated the board with voluminous (and sometimes inane, sometimes just annoying) posting that he has been put on a 5 posts per day leash. For most people, 150 posts per month would not be seen as a terrible restriction (few ever post that much). But he sees it as a silencer. He also has delusions of being a great leader. He goes on and on and on about all he has done for the community through his posts (including making a complete rewrite of the FAQ and rules - unsolicited) and he is dismayed when we don't all bow down and thank him for his great work. He has actually (repeatedly) told us that we should be thanking him and that he does more for us than anyone else. And when he has not got the love he is so certain he deserves, his reaction has been petty, disruptive, and to make a variety of kinds of attacks on those who run the board. He gathers an "enemies list" and puts anyone on it who does not agree with him 100% of the time. Which is to say, just about everyone. So he has PPC's verbal diarrhea, Hooked's delusions of self-importance, and Pokemon's "attack the admin" qualities all rolled up into one poster. But if he self-restrained to just posting less frequently and avoiding the "meta" discussions altogether, he'd be just another regular poster. So far he has seemed incapable of that. |
