This was written in response to me. Rather than re-posting, I'll link to what this was all about. Here is my initial post making the reasonable request not to mention other posters in lists sent to Amicus without those posters' permission: Don't give anyone's name without permission Here is the thread in which Amicus uses almost every rhetorical trick in the book to distort and distract from my point, never recognizing its legitimacy but never even attempting to refute it, and I repeatedly call him out on all that: Clarification / Synopsis The post he repeated here, and my rebuttal, can be found several levels into this thread. I will add that initially I only responded with caution, and made no judgments about Amicus's intentions. I didn't advise anyone not to participate in this effort, I only urged readers not to make the decision of whether to trust Amicus on anyone else's behalf, and to refrain from listing anyone without obtaining their permission. The way Amicus responded and the way he has conducted himself in the linked thread have led me to have severe reservations about him.
