Re: Seriously?

It may be cosplaying, but it is remarkably widespread in the western world, particularly the anglosphere. It is a hollow husk, the Good News of the rightness and eternity of dominion, Christianity forced into the service of beleaguered fascist power, proof that Marx and Santayana were right in their materialism, that the spiritual is a mere epiphenomenon to material forces. And it is a cosplay Christianity that we see everywhere: in Yank preachers, in sonorous, emotional declamations of the infinite value of human life alongside support for the mass slaughter of children in the service of resource grabs, in Tommy Robinson's and Danny Tommo's Christianity of exclusion, a Christianity not of faith but of identity; it is the withdrawing sea of faith leaving behind the shell of faith.
