You seem to have a literary lust for precision and accuracy and it can be quite annoying.

In this case it is unnecessary for you to go deep.

My anger at the Iranians for holding U.S. citizens (students) for one year is the reason for my hatred of the fucking Ayatollah Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini, and for my comments.

Simple payback would have been to get the last student out of Iran and then bomb the shit out of Tehran.

Now I won't get into to the details of how and why it could or couldn't be done, it was just an emotional statement.
