Some migrant kids are living in poverty, but not because there wasn't enough income, but part of the income was sent to the home country - and then the parents blame the poverty on racists bureaucrats. The other thing i have seen in a documentary, is that some people are not able to plan their economy for a whole month. It was a migrant family from deep Africa. Obviously, the mother never had learned how to deal with allowance. The small family really struggled during the last days before the paycheck. But when the paycheck came in, they went onto a shopping spree. As terrible as it sounds, throwing more money at those groups will not help the kids. The former will send any additional money home (relatives in their homeland), while the latter will not learn how to manage money. Unfortunately, some kids are born into families that are not able to provide a good childhood. |
