That no one has died is not proof that the mob was not violent. There was capitol police protecting Mike Pence, who the mob wanted to hang.

What would have happened if the Capitol police weren't there? There was at least one guy having had hand cuffs. There was a gallows outside waiting. The intention was there, the means were there. That is enough to prove attempted murder.
