I am not sure who that was, but he denied people to have an opinion unless it was based on facts. My first impression was that this is crazy, since we value the freedom of speech so much. On the second thought, it is a reasonable thing. If you cannot support your opinion with facts and evidence, then your opinion is worthless. There will be no discussion with arguments, just a shouting match. I listened to some "debates", which basically boiled down to a shouting match, irritating and interrupting the opponent. Respect and logic were missing.
