It's lazy and dumb just to resort to national stereotypes as a form of abuse rather than choosing to engage what a poster has to say.

"Having back-up" means having the facts and the argument to support your opinions. It doesn't mean engaging in an exchange of ethnic slurs and ad hominem attacks, or invoking a war that took place 80 years ago to justify everything that has happened since.

It may be that some criticisms of the United States are valid - and some might not be. Rather than taking such questions personally, why not try to mount a credible defence? You might even change somebody's mind if you bother to try.
