"If he sees himself as an artist then Chaisen has to die." He refers to himself as an artist, at least in the literal sense, but you're going to need a lot more than that to convince me that the producer/director of Alec in Wilderland would kill off Chaisen even in the service of a story. Of course, this whole medical condition thing tends to turn me off of Chaisen Hale. If it were a more conventional medium, it would be like any other movie with a sad storyline. But as a singer one would expect more "authenticity" than that. I think Arti Calloway does that much better by simply being a character who is an "AI boy."
