I had a similar disappointing experience with a prominent gay activist who owned a gay bookstore. He was one of the few who carried the NAMBLA Bulletin magazine, and he claimed to support us, so I talked to him a bit about it. Zero discussion about anything politics, anything BL, anything philosophical. He just wanted twink cock. These kinds of people were the leaders of the gay movement back in the day.
