BC is not the place for well reasoned discussions; it's literally a poetry recital. Has a well reasoned discussion ever changed a made up mind? Of the few BCers who still participate the most common use of the site in 2026 is as a litterbox for them to take dumps in. Another less common use is when BCers come to take dumps on other participants. Did ya catch that poetic use of the idea of "dumping" (which you brought up)? It is totally fine if you don't have the time or energy budget to decrypt poetry, but consider taking ownership of your own values rather than devaluing Chuck's work. Treasure chests, bank vaults and poetry can all be "intentionally inaccessible" to the uninvited all the while allowing access to those with the key. In this case maybe the key you didn't have was patience. Maybe if you'd sat there and tried to see where he was going with this a little longer, you wouldn't have given up in frustration and stopped trying. That's giving you the benefit of the doubt that you came here seeking anything other than a target to dump on. Sources say that the hope is that some great and worthwhile plant would be fertilized by all the dumping that goes on here. It may yet be a hopeless cause, but IF the dumping is ever to amount to anything constructive we have to let it compost.
