Where are you getting those figures (well, the 8% anyway, since that's the only specific figure you mention)? I looked for an ethnic breakdown of the voting and couldn't find one. The Caerphilly Senedd seat was won by the Plaid Cymru candidate. In the context of Welsh electoral politics, Plaid occupies a position much like the Greens nationally, so Diogenes is reasonably justified in calling it the same thing. There are no Greens in the Senedd and the Greens did not seriously contest the Caerphilly seat, did they? hugzu ;-p ![]() |
