ping, BC WEBMASSA! (don't mean to offend, but..)

Posted by Chuck on 2026-February-14 23:36:26, Saturday

Check out this message. When I entered "secure.boychat.org" i got this:
Can anyone tell me what it means? And is there REALLY some kind of "hole" of http between "only for a moment" and here?? (see below)

Pardon me, but I'm a tech dummy, so there!

And, oh yeah, sorry i didn't say 'salutations' to the old regs around here, better. I'm not too good about such norms like that. Kinda rusty, actually....so please don't take it personally!

What could be causing this?

Most likely, the website simply does not support HTTPS.
It’s also possible that an attacker is involved. If you decide to visit the website, you should not enter any sensitive information like passwords, emails, or credit card details.

If you continue, HTTPS-Only Mode will be turned off temporarily for this site."

Temporarily??

So what does THAT mean, exactly? Secure, or not so secure?

And is it similar to what a lot of social challenger websites experience, where all kinds of messages come up, saying things like "this website's ___ certificate is not up to date, be CAUTIOUS".

?????
