Re computer security..

..especially for those who slag off at Windows.

Yes, Windows may well be the ridiculously insecure spyware product of an evil empire.. but it doesn't really make as much of a difference to your security as anyone might think. Your hardware may well betray you as much as your software, if you should happen to be of interest to the wrong sort of people.

I'm not sure what other hardware would be suitable as replacement for all the modern Intel chips, that would also run an operating system that average GUI people would be comfortable using.
