Human life is unimaginable without eroticism. Everything is about Eros, one way or another. But it should be Eros rightly directed and rationally guided. Even - dare I say it? - spiritually aligned. The right kind of Eros, rightly directed and in due proportion. And (second verse the same as the first, a little bit louder and a little bit worse) properly oriented towards the ultimate object of all human desire. There's nothing at all wrong with Eros. Never trust a society in which 'eroticism' is the reserve of sad old men in grubby raincoats. That's a society of fools, moral monsters and philistines. |
