This would put hetero incels closer to the source of the problem than BL is; a canary in the coal mine telling an obstinate society that something is wrong. the phenomenon of incels is down to a more open society sexually, not a more closed one. making sex even easier to get is not the solution. Erotophobia isnt a thing. You are right that its telling society that something is wrong though. women taking ( or being given) more sexual freedom has had the effect of destroying marriage, which was the institution which gave men the most hope of finding a sexual partner. Now the top 5% or whatever of men get the majority of the girls, and if they get pregnant, no big deal just get an abortion. women no longer need to "lower their standards" to get with the incels who, 50 or 100 years ago would be married with a family. This was a known problem with muslim societies or societies where the top end of society monopolized all the women ( in harems, for example). You end up with a disaffected group of males who have no hope of finding a sexual partner. I suppose you might say all this is a good thing, but its definitely had a negative effect on society. I dont see how making everyone even more free to do what they want is going to make things better. Overprotective fathers have always eyed other men suspiciously. Yes, why was that a bad thing? Its not erotophobia, its understanding reality. |
