I am not going to comment on any other implication you make regarding evading the law or "hardening" a boy. If what you're doing isn't something the boy can speak freely about, you probably shouldn't be doing it or putting the boy in that difficult position. I don't think that's fair to do to boys. As far as these laws that make things illegal based solely on what's in someone's head, I disagree with them even in non sexual laws. Image if the speed limit laws were written in such a way that it's legal to go ten over, but if a police suspects you enjoyed going ten over it's illegal. So if the cop saw you smiling while exceeding the speed limit (even though there might have just been a good joke on the radio or you're just happy to be alive) he can presume that you were exceeding the speed limit solely for the enjoyment it brought you. |
